After first being revealed as part of Nike’s Fall 2020 Air Max Roundup, the new Nike Air Max ZM950 officially makes its debut with a colorway that celebrates the “Land of the Rising Sun.”
The Nike Air Max 95 model is very popular in Japan, so it makes sense for Nike to launch this AM95-inspired model with a Japan-exclusive colorway. The new Air Max model arrives with a white and black upper, complemented by a mini red Swoosh on the lateral side of the heel. Nike pays homage to Japan by placing the country’s flag on the heel cap. The sole unit is comprised of two neon green forefoot Zoom Air units and a heel 270 Max Air bubble.
Look for the Nike Air Max ZM950 “Japan” to release via atmos Tokyo raffle starting on August 15th, with an official launch on SNKRS JP and select Japanese retailers on August 19th. The retail price is ¥19,500.
