Following up the LeBron James x Nike Air Max 95, the monthly LeBron Watch series continues this month with a collaboration with atmos. There’s twice as much fun this month as Nike Basketball and the Japanese retailer are teaming up to release two LeBron 18 Low colorways: “Viotech” and “Sakura.”
Debuting back in 2003 as one of the most revered and requested collaborations in history, the atmos x Nike Air Max 1 “Viotech” continues to demonstrate its relevance 18 years later by serving as the inspiration for the one of the Nike LeBron 18 Lows. It features a brown nubuck base paired with a large Purple Swoosh on the lateral sides, and a mini Swoosh logo adorning the mudguard. A brown midsole atop a Gum rubber outsole finishes the shoe.
The “Sakura” colorway draws inspiration from Japan’s cherry blossom trees, with cherry blossom flowers making up the Swoosh logo on the side panels. The upper has a colorful mosaic pattern made up of pink and blue shades, inspired by the Trencadís style made famous by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí that covers the walls of Park Güell in Spain.
The atmos x Nike LeBron 18 Low “Viotech” and “Sakura” launched today overseas via atmos Tokyo as part of the LeBron Watch series that releases on the 23rd of every month. As for the US, Expect both colorways to arrive on April 23rd via atmos USA and possibly SNKRS as well. Official images of both models can be found below.
Update: The “Viotech” colorway will see a North American SNKRS release on May 4th.
