Bad Bunny, baby! The Puerto Rican superstar will soon be expanding his partnership with adidas. Aside from the Forum Buckle Low colorways (The First Café, Easter Egg, Triple Black), San Benito and the Three Stripes will be collaborating on more silhouettes, including the ZX 8000 and Response CL.
These releases are rumored to be part of an “Ice Cream” pack, the name stemming from their dripping design that makes them look as if they were melting. The ZX 8000 is the more colorful release in the pack, dressed in pink and purple hues with blue and orange accents.
Also included is two colorways of the Response CL, a “dad shoe” silhouette that pays homage to adidas models from the ’00s. The design of the upper is pulled from 2003’s Response Cushion, with various performance tech from the adidas archive used for the tooling, including Formotion, adiPRENE, and adiwear. Bad Bunny’s versions come in white/silver and yellow/black, featuring the same style of dripping overlays as the ZX 8000. Bad Bunny’s ???? third eye logo appears on the heels, with additional Bad Bunny branding on the insoles and packaging.
