A.P.C. is back with another streetwear-focused installment of its INTERACTION collaboration series. After dropping INTERACTION #14 with Lacoste, the Parisian label now teams up with BAPE for the launch of INTERACTION #15, marking the first collaboration between the two brands.

The A.P.C x BAPE collection combines A.P.C.’s penchant for denim and its sophisticated utilitarian style with BAPE’s iconic streetwear style and motifs such as 1ST CAMO and the lovable BABY MILO. Pieces include a denim jacket with removable hood, jeans, a camo coach jacket, a camo hoodie, graphics tees and crewnecks for both adults and kids, a denim tote bag, caps, a crossbody bag, and keychain.

“In the ’90s, A.P.C. was very popular in Japan and I went to Tokyo often, at least twice a year. When my friend Hiroshi Fujiwara introduced me to A BATHING APE, I was immediately fascinated, because it managed to anchor a cinematic obsession in a streetwear culture whose influence became and remains key,” says A.P.C founder and creative director Jean Touitou.

“This interaction was a chance for me to play with some of the cult elements of our respective brands: camouflage, denim, of course, and especially BABY MILO, a sincere character that seems like a perfect choice to boost our morale after these pandemic times. The creative process behind this interaction led to oversized clothing, interesting stonewash finishes, playful t-shirts and sweatshirts… In short, a fusion of our two worlds.”

The A.P.C. x BAPE collection launches on Saturday, September 3rd on the A.P.C. website and BAPE.com. Check out the lookbook photos below.
