Following a t-shirt collaboration with Dover Street Market in 2012, A Bathing Ape and COMME des GARÇONS join forces once again for a full range collection.
Celebrating BAPE’s new retail experience in Osaka, this collection will be exclusively available at the “shop-in-shop” store that was created by CdG’s founder Rei Kawakubo. The retail experience includes wooden fixtures with a mixture of BAPE’s signature camouflage and a CdG’s black, white, and grey color tones.
The collection includes BAPE’s signature camouflage reimagined with CdG’s black and white colors. The “Shrink T-Shirt” makes an appearance in the shape of an APE HEAD after being inspired by their ’90s Archive of iconic items. The collection continues with a couple simplistic zip-up hoodies, a button up, and T-shirts that all feature the co-branding of BAPE and CdG.
The collection will release exclusively at BAPE STORE® COMME des GARÇONS on June 20th via special lottery (June 16, 11 a.m. JST – June 18, 3 p.m. JST). Check out the official photos of the BAPE x COMME des GARÇONS collection below.
