Justin Saunders’ JJJJound and A BATHING APE have teamed up for their first ever collaborative collection.
While BAPE is known for its bold colors and prints, Saunders’ employs his minimalist aesthetic to this collaboration, applying a simple white and grey color scheme to BAPE’s silhouettes. Included is a white leather BAPE STA with grey accents. Unique design features include JJJJound branding on the heels and insoles, the use of round laces instead of flat, and a special box dressed in grey camo. On the apparel side, we have a white tee and grey pullover hoodie, each adorned with an “A TASTEFUL APE” reinterpretation of BAPE’s College logo.
The JJJJound x BAPE collection launches on Saturday, February 5th on JJJJound.com (11am CST), BAPE.com, and at BAPE stores worldwide.
