BAPE has recently brought back some of its most iconic sneakers of the ’00s, including the SK8 STA and the SKULL STA. The streetwear giant is now introducing a new silhouette to kick off the summer, the MAD STA.
Much like how the BAPE STA is inspired by the Air Force 1, the MAD STA echoes the classic design of the Blazer Low. The MAD STA makes its debut in two minimalistic colorways dressed in black and white color schemes. Uppers are constructed from premium grained cowhide leather and are adorned with BAPE’s signature star-shaped STA logo on the side panels. In addition, heel counters display “*A BATHING APE” branding in embossed text.
The BAPE MAD STA is set to release on Friday, May 27th on BAPE.com, while an in-store release at BAPE locations follows the next day on May 28th.
