This week’s BAPE drop features a collaboration with READYMADE, a Japanese label founded by designer Yuta Hosokawa known for its reworkings of second-hand garments and materials. This will be the third collaboration between the two brands, last seen teaming up on a colorful collection earlier this year.
This AW21 collection will include six items with a military aesthetic, including new versions of the BAPE x READYMADE down jacket and shorts released in 2017. Other pieces include cargo pants, a lunch box-style clutch bag, and a BABY MILO plush doll made from vintage military fabric. Rounding out the collection is a Ghillie Suit 1000% BE@RBRICK that comes with a 100% sized companion.
The A BATHING APE x READYMADE AW21 collection launches on Saturday, October 23rd. It will be available on BAPE.com, selects BAPE stores in Japan, GR8, and Maxfield LA. Check out all six products below, as well as lookbook photos starring model Kozue Akimoto.
