Noah & Barbour Introduce the 60/40 Bedale Jacket

New York’s Noah and UK’s Barbour are reuniting one final time for a Fall/Winter 2022 collection that celebrates the great outdoors.

While their last collaborative collection featured modernized versions of the classic Bedale and Beaufort jackets, this new outerwear range looks to the past for inspiration. The 60/40 Bedale Jacket, offered in a whopping eight colorways, is made from 60/40 cloth, a technical fabric introduced in the Northeast United States during the outdoor craze of the 1960s. Made from 60% cotton and 40% nylon, 60/40 cloth was originally used for mountain parkas and has become wildly popular amongst climbers and the like.

Aside from the 60/40 Bedale, the collection also includes a traditional waxed cotton Bedale dressed in duck camo and equipped with a zip-out liner. Duck camo print is also applied to a range of accessories — a backpack, washbag, and bell hat — all constructed using thornproof, waterproof waxed cotton. Rounding out the collection are corduroy cargo pants, 6-panel caps with duck embroidery, and a grey sweatshirt and graphic tees that feature an illustration of a duck rocking a Bedale and rain boots.

Noah x Barbour Fall/Winter 2022 will be available this Thursday, November 10th at 11am ET via noahny.com, Noah’s retail locations, and Dover Street Market NY, LA, and London. Japan release is set for November 19th.
