BBC ICECREAM and Reebok Serve Graphic Print Question Lows

Pharrell Williams’ BBC ICECREAM is once again teaming up with Reebok. This time around, the duo are using the Question Low to pay tribute to the mid-aughts hip hop culture that made the brand famous.

Using graphic prints created by Japanese graphic designer Sk8thing from the brand’s history, the duo showcases cartoonish, playful imagery that hearkens back to the lively and tongue-in-cheek style that was most popular at the advent of BBC Icecream. The first pair, dubbed “Beepers and Butts,” is adorned with pagers and cigarette butts, a design seen on a select number of early BBC hoodies, shirts, and shoes. The cartoons dance atop a neutral grey background, and the shoe’s outsole and sockliner are made up of a slime green material. To complete the model, blue Hexalite cushioning windows and rubberized ICECREAM/IVERSON tongue badges make the design pop.

The second pair, known as the “Name Chains” print, recalls the initial 2005 ICECREAM sneaker line with a soft pink/cream upper accented with swinging gold chains, one of the most recognizable symbols of hip-hop culture. The shoe features similar tongue badges as its accompanying model, a white midsole, and a rose-gold outsole.

The Billionaire Boys Club ICECREAM x Reebok Question Low pack is slated to release for $130 each via BBC ICECREAM’s website on October 22nd. A wider release via Reebok’s website will follow on October 30th. You can check out photos of the models down below.

Other photos of a different, bright-colored BBC ICECREAM Question Low have surfaced, with the model rumored to be releasing sometime next month.
