Sixteen years ago, Pharrell Williams created the iconic ICECREAM Skate Team. One of the original skaters on the team, Jimmy Gorecki, is going full circle, with a collaboration between his Jimmy Sweatpants (JSP) brand and BBC ICECREAM.
The ICECREAM x JSP capsule consists of staple pieces including a t-shirt, hoodie, and sweatpants that are produced at Jimmy Gorecki’s Standard Issue Supply factory in Los Angeles. The whole capsule is designed in-house at BBC ICECREAM and features some signature graphics like the ICECREAM Cone Man and Skatin Cone. The “VOLUME 01” branding acts as a nod to the original Team ICECREAM Vol 1 Skate DVD released in 2006.
To celebrate the nostalgic collaboration, Jimmy Gorecki pays homage to the original DVD with a new video filmed in Los Angeles with Team ICECREAM co-founder and manager, Nino Scalia; designer, IBN Jasper, New Balance and Visuals Skateboards pro skater JP Souza.
