With the help of Japanese label, BEAMS, Reebok is pushing a new Laceless Mule iteration of its classic Club C.

Initially founded as a lifestyle retailer selling fashion and homeware products displayed to feel like a UCLA student dorm room, BEAMS has expanded its reach well into the world of streetwear over its 40+ year history. Continuing its lasting partnership with Reebok, the Club C Laceless Mule infuses both brands’ focus for universality and creating a timeless product.

“The Club C’s major appeal is its classic look with a trendy feel. When designing the Club C Laceless Mule, we wanted to keep that overarching idea, but focus on creating a shoe that could be worn by everyone and used as both a standout and neutral accessory,” says Shingo Arai, Head of Buying for BEAMS.

The Reebok x BEAMS Club C Laceless Mule maintains the minimalism of the original Club C silhouette. However, the mule construction allows for a lightweight feel. The Cold Grey and White color palette offers a clean aesthetic. A window box, both removable and interchangeable, features BEAMS and Reebok co-branding plus なまえ text and a blank space for to put your own name, a design cue inspired by the story of military names and Japanese slippers.

The latest product of the BEAMS x Reebok partnership will be available via the BEAMS website on September 25th. A global release will ensue on October 1st via Reebok.com and select retailers.
