Original Story (07/09/22): Beth “Bephie” Gibbs, co-owner of UNION Los Angeles, is helping Jordan Brand celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 7 with a special Bephies Beauty Supply edition of the silhouette.
Bephie founded Bephies Beauty Supply (BBS) in March of 2020, creating a trusted and safe space to purchase brands founded by WOC artists and entrepreneurs who are redefining beauty and fashion as vivid, powerful and individual.
The BBS Air Jordan 7 is packed with outdoorsy ACG vibes. It comes dressed in a khaki and orange color scheme, reminiscent of the “Limestone” Air Mowabb, and features a heel clip borrowed from the Nike Air Huarache. The ankle collar area is the most interesting, constructed from a loose mesh that tightens with a drawstring and toggle mechanism. Additional features include BBS logo emblems on the heels, orange pull tabs on the tongue and heel collar, and a mini orange Swoosh on the lateral toe.
