Having just completed the US leg of her Happier Than Ever world tour, Billie Eilish officially announces her next Nike collaboration, her very own Air Force 1.

Billie reimagines the classic Air Force 1, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, by incorporating environmentally preferred materials into the construction and dressing it in a tonal mushroom color palette. Its synthetic nubuck upper is made from 80% recycled materials and 100% recycled polyester details, while the tooling is made with Nike Grind. Overall, the shoe is made from 18% post-consumer recycled content.

Billie’s signature oversized style is emphasized with the five oversized straps that run across the midfoot, which are inspired by the Nike Alpha Force Low and Air Trainer III. Packaging also comes in a tonal mushroom color scheme and features a lyric from the song “Billie Bossa Nova”: “It’s hard to stop it once it starts.” As revealed in early leaked photos, this lyric can also be found inside the shoe by removing the insole. Releasing alongside the AF-1 is an apparel collection consisting of a hoodie, sweatpants, and tee. Each piece follows Eilish’s signature oversized style and come in the same tonal mushroom color scheme as the AF-1.

“The challenge and opportunity with this collection was to respect the originals, but make them my own,” says Eilish. “It was also important for me to mix in environmentally preferred materials where we could and present them in a way that felt fresh.”

The Billie Eilish x Nike Air Force 1 and apparel collection launches on April 24th on the Billie Eilish webstore, followed a release on SNKRS on April 25th.
