California-based retailers BLENDS are set to release a revamped version of their lauded, skeletal 2013 Vans Vault Sk8-Hi Zip just in time for Halloween.
While 2020’s model trades the polished leather upper of the first model for a black suede, the model otherwise appears relatively faithful to its predecessor. Promo material for the shoe showcases a classic SK8-Hi patterned suede/canvas upper with the same signature boney reinterpretation of the Old Skool’s sidewall stripe atop a simple white rubber midsole. The shoe also notably features a heel zipper with a triangular tab near the bottom for easy entry and a unique visual aesthetic.
The BLENDS x Vans Vault SK8-Hi Zip is set to release via BLENDS’ website on October 24th. You can check out detailed shots of the shoes down below.
