Extending their partnership stemming from their first collaboration in 2019, Blondey McCoy and adidas Originals have returned to release two more colorways of their collaborative see-through Superstars.
The upper of the “Schwarz Tint” (aka “Core Black”) pair is constructed of partially translucent dark black TPU overlayed with the classic adidas Three Stripes and a gold “Blondey” midfoot stamp. TPU ensures the shoes durability as it is a way stronger material than typical skates hoes. Leather pieces construct the heel tab, eye stay, and tongue while classic black rubber creates the toebox. The “Starlight Blue” (aka “Icey Blue”) unit features a cooler toned translucent upper with bright and bold red laces, also featuring a “Blondey” stamp. Blue and white adidas Originals badges detail the tongue of both pairs.
Both pairs release on January 30th via adidas.com/blondey_superstar and in the US on the adidas CONFIRMED app. The “Schwarz Tint” colorway is also available on Blondey’s Thames webstore. Take a look at official photos below.
