Queens-based skate imprint Bronze 56K is reuniting with Reebok to present two collaborative silhouettes ready to take you throughout the city on foot, board, or court all summer long. While previous Bronze 56K x Reebok collabs have focused on the Club C, fans are now being treated to a re-dressed Answer IV and Classic Leather that radiate the vibrance of the brand’s home city.
The Bronze 56K x Reebok Classic Leather wears its New York influence on its sleeve, using soft grey suede to gird a vibrant blue nylon upper and orange leather stripes that unmistakably evoke the New York Knicks’ home colors. In place of the Classic Leather’s traditional Reebok tongue tags and insoles sits a Windows 95-inspired Bronze graphic, leaning into the shoe’s already-prominent retro design. Bronze branding also takes the place of Reebok’s traditional eyestay branding, while ice-white outsoles, laces, and heel tabs round out the pair’s design.
On the other hand, the Bronze 56K Answer IV uses a sleek, relatively monochromatic design. Dressed in bright white and soft cream, the Answer IV’s organic, futuristic paneling is left to do the talking, contrasting an embroidered blue Bronze 56K dice graphic and an orange-blue stripe up the tongue. While Reebok and Bronze co-branding adorns the very top of the Answer IV’s tongue, the shoe’s white midsole and gum outsole appear relatively subdued in contrast to the Classic Leather’s bright color blocking.
The Bronze 56K x Reebok Answer IV and Classic Leather will drop on June 26th via Reebok.com (12am ET), Bronze56K.com (11:56am ET), and select third-party retailers for $160 and $120, respectively. You can see product shots of each shoe down below.
