Cactus Plant Flea Market is gearing up to restock last year’s CPFM x Nike Air Force 1 By You.
Late last night, the brand uploaded a screen recording of rapper Nelly’s Instagram story captioned only “SEPTEMBER 10TH.” The video shows Nelly opening two pairs of the CPFM AF1, with both shoes looking apparently identical to last year’s collaboration. The shoe originally dropped via Nike’s “Nike By You” platform, which allows customers to choose colors, materials, and more to create a custom-built Nike sneaker. While the platform ordinarily hosts relatively regular mainline Nike shoes, CPFM dropped two shoes on it last year: the Air Force 1 and the Blazer Sponge.
The CPFM Air Force 1 comes in both black and white colorways and features giant, Uptempo-style 3D lettering on the sides of each shoe and can read either “AIR FLEA” or “AIR SUNSHINE” depending on which option the buyer selects. The lettering is surrounded by reflective 3M accents that can come in either white, green, yellow, or red. Finally, the shoe is rounded out by colorful asymmetrical heatmap insoles.
There’s no word so far is CPFM will also re-release the collection’s accompanying apparel or the preceding Blazer Sponge By You, but stay tuned for updates. In the meantime, you can get a refresher on some of the possible iterations of the model down below.
