Yams Day 2020 is going down this Friday at the Barclays Center in New York City. The annual celebration of the life of A$AP Yams returns for a fifth year and to help celebrate, AWGE has enlisted some of their favorite brands to make merch for the occasion.
Pieces available exclusively at the event include a tee and crewneck designed by Cactus Plant Flea Market. The tee features CPFM’s smiley motif with the addition of ASAP YAMS’ birthmark and cross tattoo. The same birthmark and cross appear on the yellow crewneck. Both feature in memoriam messages for Steven “Yams” Rodriguez on the back in CPFM’s bubble print.
Young Thug’s SPIDER label also contributes to the collection with a dusty pink long sleeve complete with a rendering of Yams on the front and a dangling spider graphic on the sleeve. Other pieces include a hoodie that plays of the popular “I Heart NY” tourist tees and a Wavybone crewneck and bandana. Accessories including posters, candles, and foam fingers will also be available.
