After providing a preview of her new collection during WNBA All-Star, Candace Parker officially announces her “Play Your Ace” collection with adidas Basketball.
The Chicago Sky forward’s second adidas collection embodies Parker’s evolution on-and-off the court melding Ace’s style and performance insights for the next generation player. The star of the collection is the all-new Exhibit B, arriving in three custom colorways. The “For Lailaa Nicole” colorway will release is in honor of Parker’s daughter and comes dressed in emerald green with silver accents. The “Game Royalty” colorway comes in purple and gold representing African queens, while the “Windy City” edition commemorates the hometown hero’s 2022 WNBA championship win. The Exhibit B is also offered in three “Elevated Team” colorways emphasizing the magic of teamwork.
“I’m thrilled to announce my second collection with adidas,” says Parker. “Women and girls need more athletes who look, work, think, dream and play like them now more than ever. Our hope is to empower the future of women in basketball and inspire every young hooper to create their own legacy. Part II is influenced by my personal journey and dedicated to the people who have been there every step of the way, especially my daughter Lailaa.”
The collection also includes pre and post-game apparel offerings such as signature Ace sweatsuits, cropped jackets and hoodies, and an assortment of tees and shorts that harken back to pivotal moments in Parker’s iconic career. Pieces are offered in inclusive sizing, allowing Parker’s vision for expanded access to female and non-binary athletes who’ve traditionally had to size down to access men’s basketball apparel and footwear.
Candace Parker x adidas Collection Part II “Play Your Ace” will be available for purchase beginning August 1st in stores and online via adidas and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
