Following her “B Unexplainable” and “Summertime Fine” collections, Cardi B reconnects with Reebok to launch her latest full collection of apparel and footwear. The end-of-summer release gives the hip-hop starlet a chance to get back to her roots.
The “Let Me Be…In My World” collection kicks off with the Cardi B Classic Leather sneaker. Coming in women’s and kids’ sizes, the sneaker will come in four colorways: Hunter Green, Sandy Rose, Triathlon Red and Footwear White.
When it comes to the apparel design, the ensemble takes cues from Cardi’s first drop while melting them together with aspects of the Big Apple. Another inspiration element comes from Cardi’s love of couture. The pieces feature tight constructions, oversized sleeves and cropped waists for a fully ranged collection of tracksuits, bodysuits, skirts and face coverings. Other details like “snatchedness,” cut-outs, overemphasized stitching and bungee closings offer even more creative elements that Cardi herself wears often.
Reebok and Cardi worked together from sketch to sample to final product bringing the collection to life in a way that truly exemplified the hustler mentality. “This NYC-inspired collection features some of my favorite pieces to wear—from corsets to tracksuits to fly kicks, all inspired by my time and love of New York,” said Cardi. In order to reach all of her fans, the collection is also available in sizes ranging from 2XS to 4X.
