Carhartt WIP has teamed up with Salomon for its own twist of the French footwear brand’s CSWP Shelter, creating a winter boot for both workwear and gorpcore enthusiasts.
The CSWP (short for ClimaSalomon Waterproof) Shelter features a flexible, lightweight, fully waterproof bootie, an insulated Softshell and Climatherm outer layer, and Winter Contagrip outsole for enhanced traction. Carhartt WIP’s version comes dressed in black and navy ripstop, a hint of khaki on the heels, and black fleece lining. Minimal branding is found on the tongues and heels, as well as on the printed footbeds that feature a reworking of traditional Indonesian vine camouflage.
The Carhartt WIP x Salomon CSWP Shelter will be available on Thursday, February 10th on the Carhartt WIP website, salomon.com, select Carhartt WIP and Salomon stores, and other select retailers. Available in Asia and Australia on February 17th.
