Original Story (12/04/20): Carpet Company, a Baltimore-based skateboarding brand founded by Egyptian brothers Osama and Ayman Abdeldayem, is the latest revealed to have an upcoming Nike SB Dunk collaboration in the works.
Leaked images reveal an SB Dunk High equipped with a white leather base and blue-tinted graphic overlays. Carpet’s C-shaped star logo appears on the side of the heel with additional Carpet branding found on the gum-colored outsoles and on the tongue tag. A section on the back of the heel appears torn off, revealing Arabic writing on one shoe and “BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE HABIBIS AT CARPET COMPANY” on the other. Similar messages are found on tags hidden inside the shoe, along with a graphic of a lamb on a red tag. Insoles feature Carpet Company’s “Angry Man & Thank-You Man” graphic seen previously on the brand’s “Moroccan” skate deck. Midsoles and tongues have an aged tint to them.
