Since the beginning of the Air Jordan Series, one shoe remains the most favored amongst Jordan heads and Sneaker Aficionado's. The Air Jordan XI (11) White/Black-Dark Concord was last seen in 2000; 5 years after it's original release date in 1995. Now, Modern Notoriety is here to confirm that the all time favorite colorway will be back for Holiday 2011. This shoe could most likely cause more chaos than the Space Jam release did last year. The shoe will be the 3rd time it has ever been released and the 2nd time it has been retro'd.
Note: Now before we get all excited, We would like to point out that these are OG "Orlando" X's and have been customized. These are not Fake. For the past few years, an unknown customizer by the name of "Mr.Lu" has been adding his own work to several Air Jordan's by altering them and passing them off as P.E's. However, just like any sneaker customizer, think of Mr.Lu as a "P.E Customizer". Though his work is hard to come by, You can sometimes find an altered pair like this OG Customized Air Jordan X "Orlando" with Penny Hardaway's Number 1 on the side. We showed you Mitch Richmond's "Sacramento" X a few day's ago and now we give you what NTer's call, The "Lu Special". After the jump, you can see more pics of this custom Penny P.E and overall, We think FRESH. That is all...Via NT
The Air Jordan XIV (14) may be one of the most underrated Air Jordan shoes of all time but what this shoe signifies is the closing of Michael Jordan's final Championship win. The XIV, now labeled as the "Last Shot", was MJ's last shoe he wore during his last season with the Chicago Bulls. Here we have a look at an unreleased sample of the Air Jordan XIV that was supposed to be released with the Countdown Pack but was scrapped. The shoe features a red sole, red stitching and hints of more red for the most part on the rest of the shoe along with black. This would have been a great XIV colorway to be released but who knows? Maybe Jordan Brand will release these one day. More Pics after the Jump! Via Kenlu
Jordan Brand's fusion projects seem to be doing well as they continue to fuse it's own Jordan Brand shoes together with the Air Jordan 5 Prime. The shoe features lasering on just about every panel, The Air Jordan 5 Netting and tongue as well as the Air Jordan 1 Sole. You will be seeing alot of these in 2011. Let us know what you think about this pair.
