Original Story (07/18/22): Nike is gearing up for the release of special Dunk Low colorways for some of its sponsored HBCUs, such as the recently revealed Florida A&M University edition. Another school that is getting its own Dunk Low is Clark Atlanta University, a member of the Nike-sponsored Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC).

The CAU Dunk Low features a black, grey, and red color scheme with a mismatching color blocking across the left and right shoes. The CAU Panthers logo appears on the tongue tags as well as on the bottom of the see-through outsoles. Another special touch is the extra shoelaces that come printed with the school’s motto, “Find A Way Or Make One.” As a final touch, 1988 is embroidered on the heels, nodding to the year the HBCU was established through the consolidation of its two parent institutions, Atlanta University and Clark College.
