CLOT x Air Jordan “Jade 5 Low” Gets Wider Release

Original Story (10/28/21): Edison Chen’s CLOT is reuniting with Jordan Brand for a new sneaker release, this time collabing on the Air Jordan 5 Low. This follows their “Terracotta” Air Jordan 14 Low released in early 2021.

Pulling inspiration from Chinese culture, this Air Jordan 5 Low comes dressed primarily in black satin, contrasted by a red sockliner and laces and hits of jade green on the lace locks, eyelet embellishments, and glow-in-the-dark outsoles. The side panel netting and other elements of the shoe are glow-in-the-dark as well. Mismatching CLOT and Jumpman logos are found on the back of the heels, with additional CLOT branding found on the outsoles. As a final touch, the number “23” in Chinese numerals is embroidered on the side of the heel, a nod to Michael Jordan.

Update (05/17/22): The CLOT x Air Jordan “Jade 5 Low” releases on May 20th on SNKRS.

Update (05/06/22): CLOT has officially announced the release of the CLOT x Air Jordan “Jade 5 Low.” These launch on May 14th at select JUICE locations worldwide and online and are accompanied by a three-piece CLOT x Jordan apparel collection that includes a black tee and Barely Green hoodie and sweatpants. A raffle on the JUICE app will be open from May 10th through May 12th.

To celebrate the release, CLOT will be opening special Jade pop-ups in Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Honolulu throughout the month of May. From May 7th through May 31st, the first floor of Tai Kwun in Hong Kong will be transformed into an antique jade store, and visitors will get early access to the CLOT x Air Jordan 5 Low raffle.
