After making their mark on designer and sports apparel, American forerunners Coach and Champion have merged to create a limited-edition collection.
Marked as an exclusive release, the collection includes leather bags and jogger pants, sweaters and sweater dresses, shearling jackets and crossbody bags. Taking Coach’s love for leather and quality designs and Champion’s signature sport jersey fabrics, the apparel succeeds in the efforts for a “more elevated product.” The collection comes in familiar red and blue tones, while incorporating earth hues for the more mindful fashion enthusiast. In an interesting twist, the two brands have joined their logos to create a hybrid of Coach’s signature storypatch and Champion’s C-logo jock tag.
Though the two-house partnership is “quite unexpected,” according to the Coach team, the Coach x Champion apparel collection appeals to both sides of their consumer base. Expect the release to hit February 2nd via Coach retail stores and the Coach site and catch a look at some of the pieces in the collection below.
