Coca-Cola x Kith Capsule Collection 2019

0

Since 2016, every year Kith and Coca-Cola have teamed up on a collection of apparel. The partnership will continue into 2019 with a new capsule collection, which features patchwork hoodies, crewnecks and polos.

Kith’s Ronnie Fieg shares the inspiration behind this year’s collab: “In 2000, the State of Hawaii gave each island its own official color. That color matches the hue of the island’s official flower. We used those colors to create these patchwork pieces made of a summer weight cotton jersey. The Kith x Coca Cola 2019 collection is coming soon.”

The collection drops one week early at a pop-up shop in the Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki next Friday, August 2nd. Look for a global release on August 9th and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for more info on this collab.

Update (8/6/19): Kith has released the full lookbook for their fourth annual collection with Coca-Cola. The 105-piece collection is comprised of both men’s and women’s apparel and includes Varsity Jackets, Denim Truckers, Hoodies, Crewnecks, ¼ Zip Windbreakers, Camp Shirts, Skate Decks, and Swimwear.

Partnerships include Mitchell & Ness, who helped craft active inspired tops with Hawaii-inspired all-over print through bottoms and headwear. Orlebar Brown created two all-over print men’s swim trunks while Golden Bear returns with an update on the Classic Varsity Jacket. Garret Leight offers custom eyewear for this collection while Channel Islands partners with Kith on a very limited surfboard offered in two styles. The collection is rounded out by the Coca-Cola Converse Chuck Taylor 1970’s, which features a removable bottle cap-shaped patch.

Check out the campaign and lookbook images in the galleries below. Available Friday August 9th at all Kith shops and at 10AM CST on Kith.com.
