In an interesting move for COMME des GARÇONS, the brand plans to include Cruella merch in its Fall/Winter 2021 collection.
The film, which released in late May, details the life of 101 Dalmatians villain Cruella de Vil. The collection features two types of bags, coming in at ¥35,200 JPY (roughly $320 USD) each, and two shirts, priced at ¥14,300 JPY (about $130 USD each). CDG has displayed scenes from the film directly on the bags and tees to give a bold depiction of one of Disney’s most notorious villains. Once finding herself covered in fur, wearers can now have Cruella printed on their own pieces. Played by Emma Stone, graphics depict the villainess in iconic scenes from the film.
The COMME des GARÇONS x Disney “Cruella” collection is slated to release in early August via CDG Aoyama stores and other CDG shops.
