The partnership between Comme des Garçons PLAY and Converse has been going strong since 2009/2010, when the two introduced the CDG PLAY Chuck 70, aka “the shoes with the hearts on them.” The two are now celebrating twelve years of their ongoing partnership with new colorways that pay homage to the OG release.
The CDG PLAY x Converse Chuck 70 is now being offered in high and low versions in both “Black” and “Pristine” colorways, each featuring a red foxing that matches the iconic Comme des Garçons PLAY heart-and-eyes logo. Each are constructed with premium canvas uppers. As part of this release, Converse is also restocking the “Blue Quartz” and “Steel Grey” colorways, as well as the 2015 pack with white foxing.
