Common Projects has kept their brand of minimalistic luxury sneakers going strong for quite some time now. The signature Achilles model is a classic shoe that can be worn with anything and is one of the most versatile sneakers out now. Teaming up with retailer Dover Street Market to celebrate anniversary of their New York location, the two brands gave the classic silhouette a fun makeover.
In true anniversary mode, the shoe is inspired by a birthday cake. Clean smooth leather makes up for the entire upper of the shoe. Things get pretty fun at the sole, however. The shoe sits atop a colorful speckled gum sole with the resemblance of sprinkles.
You can get a piece of the cake, as these will be dropping on December 4 at Dover Street Market.
