Following the release of the National Park Foundation x adidas ZX 5000 “Joshua Tree”, the Three Stripes is back with another collaboration for its A-ZX series, this time working with Concepts on the ZX 9000.
The brands have come together to pay homage to Concepts’ hometown of Boston and the city’s iconic marathon, which is not only the world’s oldest bust also widely regarded as one of the most challenging races. This ZX 9000 comes equipped with an upper made from highly-reflective foiled silver leather, inspired by mylar recovery blankets that keep runners warm after marathons. Navy blue, red, and white dress the stripes, which happen to be the official colors of the New England Patriots. The same colors act as accents on the aglets and sole unit.
The Concepts x adidas ZX 9000 will release via adidas.com/A-ZX and the Concepts webstore on September 6th for a retail price of $140, followed by a global release on September 12th. Check out the shoe in the images below.
