While ASICS collaborations are not always the most hyped releases, the new Concepts x ASICS Gel Lyte III “Salmon” reaffirms that the brand consistently brings gorgeous materials, colors, and details to their team-ups with sneaker retailers and fashion designers.

Concepts, the Boston-grown sneaker dealer that recently dropped a Kyrie 7 collection, has taken aesthetic inspiration from traditional Japanese art for this release. Premium pigskin suede adorns the upper in tonal pinks, with embossed Concepts branding gently gracing the Gel Lyte III’s heel cup. Beneath the silhouette’s famous split tongue, ASICS and Concepts co-branded insoles sport historical woodblock print art consisting of a turbulent wave and fish to match the shoe’s color. The shoe also comes with the choice of matching pink or pale green laces.

Although the Concepts x ASICS Gel Lyte III has no official release date thus far, detailed pictures of the model have surfaced. You can check out the photos down below while we wait for updates on the shoe’s inevitable release via the Concepts website.
