Boston-based retailer Concepts has officially revealed the Concepts x Nike Kyrie 7 “Horus” and accompanying “Feather of Maat” collection, the latest in the retailer’s long-standing partnership with Kyrie Irving and his sister Asia.
This collaboration was spurred by a mutual interest in Egyptian archaeology, ritual, and symbols between Concepts and Irving. The collaborative sneaker and apparel comes dressed in vibrant teal and turquoise inspired by glazed ceramics from ancient Egypt known as Faience, with the orange hits drawing inspiration from the color of desert sands at sunset right before nightfall. Egyptian symbols such as the Ankh and Lotus flower are worked into the shoes design and the graphics on the apparel.
The Concepts x Nike Kyrie 7 “Horus” and accompanying “Feather of Maat” collection releases on May 7th exclusively via the Concepts website and their retail locations in Boston, New York, and Dubai.
