Converse has announced new collaborations that will debut a ComplexCon Chicago this weekend. Converse has collaborated with Joshua Vides and Chinatown Market’s Michael Cherman to release three Converse Chuck 70’s to exemplify the history of customization that is associated with the Chuck Taylor All Star.
Vides introduces interchangeable canvas panels for the shoes upper while Cherman uses a multi-tonal canvas upper that changes colors when exposed to UV light. For the third shoe, Converse takes their own approach to DIY culture with the UNT1TL3D pack, that has an exaggerated sole and “NOT A CHUCK” printed across the canvas upper.
The shoes will debut at ComplexCon Chicago with global releases as follows: July 26 for the Converse x UNT1TL3D; August 2 for the Converse x Chinatown Market; August 16 for the Converse x Joshua Vides. Take a look at all three projects below.
