Daniel Arsham is launching his Crystallized Charmander relic this week, the second installment in the artist’s Crystalized Pokémon series. This follows the launch of the Pikachu relic released in 2020.
The Crystallized Pikachu relic released alongside Arsham’s Pokémon x UNIQLO UT collection and marked the launch of the the Daniel Arsham x Pokémon “Relics of Kanton Through Time” partnership. It came in white and a China-exclusive blue colorway, each edition of 500 quickly selling out despite their $2000 price tags.
Crystallized Charmander is also an edition of 500, featuring a construction of white cast resin and crushed crystal, measuring 33 cm tall and weighing 6.1 kg. Each comes housed in a box with die-cut foam cushioning, a pair of custom art handling gloves, and a holographic label of authenticity.
