DC Shoes is releasing a collection of footwear and apparel in collaboration with the popular animated sitcom Bob’s Burgers.
For this special food-inspired collaboration, DC Shoes has enlisted Alvin Cailan, chef and founder of Eggslut chain of restaurants, to create seven original burger recipes inspired by and named after skateboarding tricks. Names such as Pop Chevre It, Portobell-No Comply, Frontside 360 Pickle Flip, and Big Spin-ach have been converted into custom graphics that can be found across the collection. Chef Alvin will bring these recipes to life in a video series titled 7 Days of Burgers that features pro skaters Wes Kremer and Ish Cepeda and will be available to view on the DC Shoes Youtube channel starting May 1st.
The star of the collection is the Kalis OG, the signature of DC pro skater Josh Kalis. It features a glow-in-the-dark outsole and a cartoon graphic of Kalis can be found on the outsole, illustrated in the recognizable Bob’s Burgers art style. Other pieces include several high and low top sneakers, sandals, tees, hats, and an apron.
The DC x Bob’s Burgers collection releases on May 1st via the DC Shoes website and in select stores. The Bob’s Burgers x DC Shoes Kalis OG will drop online on May 15th.
