Original Story (10/02/20): Last month, Denham and Nike launched their collaborative Air Max collection which consisted of an Air Max 90, Air Max 95, and a limited Air Max 1. It looks like the partnership doesn’t end there as images of a new collaborative Blazer Mid have surfaced.
This Blazer Mid takes on some of the same design cues as the Denham Air Max 1, most notable with the Swooshes, which are carved out from the shoe’s white leather upper to reveal the sashiko stitches, indigo checkered denim and indigo fishbone patterns seen previously on the Air Max 1. Other returning design cues include the red stitching around the Swooshes and on the tongue tag, the tan nubuck used for the tongue tag and heel plate, and the red leather insoles adorned in scissor logos.

Update (02/08/21): Denham has finally announced the release of its Nike Blazer Mid ’77 collaboration. Online and in-store raffles are open now on the Denham website and are set to close at midnight CET on February 11th. Retail price is €180.
The shoe pays homage to Denham’s Asian roots with four different sashiko style, indigo ‘kimono’ fabrics used on the Swoosh, inspired by the Japanese artisan craft repair technique ‘Boro.’ Each pair is unique, featuring a different combined of indigo denim styles. Denham’s tagline, ‘The Truth is in the Details’ is reflected in the finer points, such as the bamboo engraved lace tips. Check out detailed images below.
