While mid-aughts style technical runners have been slowly trickling back into fashion circles for a couple of years now (See the Nike Zoom Streak Spectrum, Vomero 5s, and P-6000s), New Balance and Canadian skate house Dime have come together to quite possibly perfect the look on a pair of 860v2 colorways.
The first and possibly most eye-catching pair showcases the 860v2’s highly textured mesh upper in a rich, navy blue. The model’s paneling and mid/outsoles are dressed in deep black, but the shoe features extremely eye-catching yellow accents around the swooping overlay patterns. The second colorway takes a much more tonal approach, with the shoe’s mesh coming in light gray underneath metallic silver accents and ice-white laces. Both models feature a bright yellow DIME tag near the lateral heel and matching insoles that practically glow onto the underside of their respective tongues.
