Dime and Vans are joining forces once again, this time for a special release in celebration of the Half Cab’s 30th anniversary. Following the release of the Dime Half Cab Pro in 2020 and the co-introduction of the Wayvee in 2021, the two skate brands now come together for a special edition Skate Half Cab ’92.
The Half Cab ’92 is a new build of the Half Cab that was introduced this year with subtle tweaks such as internal tongue straps for a locked-in fit, POPCUSH cushioning, and separation of the toe cap and ollie patch for a more modern look. Uprise in Chicago delivered its own version of the Half Cab ’92 earlier this year, and now Dime out of Montreal will be adding its signature touch to the silhouette.
The Dime Half Cab ’92 comes dressed in an oxford tan color palette and is equipped with a luxe suede upper. Tonal stitching is used throughout, with tonal branding appearing on the tongue tags. Dime branding is debossed across the heel counter, while the Half Cab logo is also debossed on the quarter panel. Additional details include a co-branded debossed hangtag, a warped Dime print on the insoles, and a clear, statement-making outsole with Dime printed beneath the surface.
The Dime x Vans Skate Half Cab ’92 will be available exclusively through Dime beginning September 17th. A global release will take place on September 22nd on Vans.com and at select retailers. Grab a detailed look below.
