While we’re just one day into the new NBA season, things are already unmistakably feeling a bit weird. COVID-19 has the league’s players holed up at Walt Disney World to minimize the chance of an outbreak among teams. Although fans might understandably need some time to adjust to the new style of play and the season’s unconventional setup, they’re now able to get in on the game’s merch just as they would at their home arenas.
The brand Junk Food has teamed up with Disney to create a capsule that pays tribute to the NBA’s first day back. The limited-edition drop includes vintage-inspired images of Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Daffy Duck in attire from the NBA teams. The fan-favorite Disney characters find their place on an array of t-shirts and long-sleeves.
