Dover Street Market and New Balance unite on a special edition colorway of the 991 that celebrates 40 years of manufacturing in the UK.
The DSM x New Balance 991 was crafted at New Balance’s UK factory in Flimby, Cambria, which started operations in 1982. The shoe comes dressed in classic NB grey mesh and nubuck with tan leather accents on the toe box, tongue, and heel. DSM branding appears on the loop of the tongue, while the heel tabs read “DSM” on the left shoe and “991” on the right. Marking the 40th anniversary is the years 1982-2022 on the inner tongue tag, as well as the branding on the insoles.
