Original Story (01/02/20): The 30th anniversary celebration of the Air Max 90 has already promised the return of many classic colorways. Today we’ve received word that the 2004 “Bacon” colorway made in collaboration with NYC sneaker boutique Dave’s Quality Meats will be joining in on the fun.
The “Bacon” colorway was inspired by the layout of the now-defunct boutique’s butcher shop theme. The combination of colors across the suede and leather upper bares a resemblance to that delicious cut of pork belly we carnivores crave with our morning eggs. This fan-favorite Air Max 90 has never been re-released since its debut, making it a highly coveted pair.
Look for the Air Max 90 “Bacon” to return in March
2020, just in time for Air Max Day which lands on March 26th. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for more info on this highly anticipated release.
