Dr. Martens and streetwear retailer Bodega have announced a second collaboration, following up their 2019 debut with a reworking of the signature 1461 silhouette yet again.

The Dr. Martens x Bodega 1461 was inspired by everyday wear and the rugged mentality of Dr. Martens wearers; Bodega’s standout elevated execution and unique storytelling have given the signature 3-eye shoe a counterculture upgrade. Commemorating both the 60th anniversary of the 1461 and the 15th anniversary of Bodega, this new rendition features a wintergrip outsole, mixed-material upper, and Tectuff toe caps, creating something new without leaving behind details of its 2019 predecessor. The understated wardrobe staple also features functionality and style-catered design details.

Bodega highlights graphic artist Sonny Mouneu, better know as Sonny Boy, in the campaign video and imagery for this release (see full editorial here). The Dr. Martens x Bodega 1461 launches on April 24th via the Bodega website (10am ET), DrMartens.com, as well as at select retailers.
