After dropping a 992 dedicated to DC earlier in the year, DTLR is now launching another exclusive New Balance 992, this time celebrating going back to school and America’s love for varsity sports.
The “Varsity” New Balance 992 comes dressed in the footwear brand’s signature grey with collegiate-inspired pops of red, blue, and yellow. The US flag logo on the tongue that came on the original 992 release in 2006 makes its return, this time used to symbolize the importance of sports in American culture. The classic model also features flashy details such as a hyper-white reflective “N” and a hologram USA logo on the heel.
The DTLR x New Balance 992 “Varsity” launches on Friday, September 3rd to kick off Labor Day Weekend. Catch these exclusively on the DTLR website (10am ET) and at DTLR locations.
