Eames x Reebok Classic Leather “Colouring Toy” & “Rosewood”

0

Original Story (05/04/22): Eames and Reebok are back with more collaborative sneakers, following the release of their Club C “Monotone Pack” in 2021 and “Dot Pattern & Composition Pack” in March. This time around, we are treated to two colorways of the Reebok Classic Leather.

The first is “The Colouring Toy,” inspired by the coloring toy kit first released by Eames back in 1955. The shoe features a white leather upper with various shapes outlined in black. These are the same shapes as the die-cut panels that are included in the Eames coloring kit.

The second is the “Rosewood” colorway, inspired by the Rosewood Lounge Chair designed by Ray and Charles Eames for Herman Miller that was introduced in 1956. It features a woodgrain design throughout the upper, paired with brown laces, tongues, sockliners, and midsoles. Both pairs custom with co-branded tongue tags and graphic insoles that nod to their respective inspos.

Grab a first look at the Eames x Reebok Classic Leather “The Colouring Toy” and “Rosewood” below. Look for these to drop in the coming months on Reebok.com, the Eames Office website, and at select retailers. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.

Update (05/28/22): The Eames x Reebok Classic Leather “The Colouring Toy” and “Rosewood” officially drop on June 10th. They will be followed by a three-piece “Elephant Pack” on June 21st.
