El Cappy and JBF Create Custom Nike Zoom Generation 1 for Dan Gilbert

Stock X brought together two of the Midwest’s best sneaker customizers to tell the story of two cities that have one person in common, Dan Gilbert. The Michigan native and owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers has both cities on lock which brings us this special Nike Zoom Generation 1 created by JBF Customs and El Cappy.

Using Lebron’s first signature sneaker, JBF and Cappy put their own spin on the set using their own story telling as natives from both Michigan and Cleveland. El Cappy, a Michigan Native, added various details on the right shoe that gives a nod to Detroit thriving businesses owned by Dan Gilbert. On the left sneaker, JBF customs added his own spin by re-working the uppers of the shoe using materials such as basketball rubber and denim.
