END. and adidas Originals have given the Continental 80 an upgrade of German-engineered proportions in their latest collab. The release comes inspired from German motorsport moguls BMW M Sport and Martini Racing Porsche.
As for the shoes, various materials play a part in the designs with tumbled leather and suede making an appearance. Each features the leather upper, though the cream colorway highlights the forefoot suede. The signature Three Stripes and adidas tongue branding accompany retro campaign imagery. END. branding stamps the top heel panel. German engineering transfers to shoe-making in this case with the mix of high-quality materials and standard adidas construction. The collection boasts exclusivity as well with a mere 500 pairs of each colorway made, with each one featuring a “Made in Germany [x/500]” on the lateral heel.
