Former NBA star Grant Hill appeared in a series of Sprite commercials throughout the ’90s. If you grew up in the era, you may have the phrase “Grant Hill drinks Sprite” engraved in your memory. FILA and Sprite have teamed up on a limited-edition collaboration that nod back to these iconic ads.
The collab includes a Sprite colorway of the FILA Grant Hill 1 basketball shoe dressed in white with green and blue accents as well as matching basketball shorts. To celebrate the release, FILA has created a new campaign that puts a twist on the classic “Grant Hill Drinks Sprite” spot from 1995, which can be viewed above.
The FILA Grant Hill x Sprite collection is available now on FILA.com. The Grant Hill 1 is priced at $140 while the shorts retail for $68 USD. The footwear will be available via Champs Sports starting Thursday.
