New York sneaker designer and KITH shop owner, Ronnie Fieg, teased a first look at his next Puma collaboration via his Twitter and Instagram accounts today.  Puma has previously allowed Fieg to put his personal touch on classics such as the Disc Blaze, R698 and the XT-2.  Now, it seems we are getting a peek at a mid-top iteration of the “Blaze of Glory” model sporting a velcro strap near the toe box.  Other features include a luxurious black quilted leather base, smooth black and red leather panels, gold-like lace tips to match the KITH-branded strap and a speckled midsole.  No release date has been shared yet but follow us for further development on this upcoming collaboration.

Update 8/30: Seems this will be a collaboration that will commemorate the 10-year anniversary of lifestyle blog Highsnobiety.

Update 9/9: Along with the mid-top Blaze of glory, it looks like there will also be a R698 sneaker releasing for the pack.  Featuring a black quilted suede upper, this Puma runner will also have a black and red midsole with black speckles on the red.  As most things Ronnie Fieg, it goes without saying that comfort-cool is the aim for this collection.

A release date of September 25 has been announced.  Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety as we provide further release details such as prices and where to buy.
